I will start this post by saying thank you and happy new year!

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post. It shows that you believe in me and trust my opinion. Thank you if you were following me before, but noticed my blog got cancelled, and thank you especially for coming back, because I know how easy it is to give up on something once you’ve been let down before.

And of course, I would like to wish you a happy new year and an awesome new decade (even though I feel like 2020 sounds more like the end of a decade than the beginning). I do hope this year and decade mark(s) the beginning of something special for you.

To sum it up, my blog got cancelled, due to a card renewal issue, and it was at that point that I found out that my posts weren’t being backed up at all. Needless to say, I figured it was gone for good, summed up my losses and moved on.
However, I’ve been battling this niggling suspicion that I’m not done with this, so I decided to give it another go.

To be honest, it wasn’t a difficult decision to start blogging again, because I truly enjoy it and I’ve really missed it. What was difficult for me was the decision to make the commitment to be deliberate and consistent with my blog, which is something I seriously lacked earlier. I really do love fashion and love sharing my style even more. I also love writing, telling stories and sharing my perspective as well, which is why blogging is the perfect outlet for me. Fingers crossed I do it right this time.

This was one of my looks for the #nbaagc2019 last year. It’s an Ankara fabric that I got as a souvenir at a family friend’s event and I decided to make a fun a chic jumpsuit.
I love that the print is bold and vibrant, yet not too busy or distracting. It can be worn by itself or more corporate by simply adding a blazer over it, or a shirt underneath it.

P.S. I’m sorry for everything I ever said against mules. I was ignorant. I absolutely love them now.
